In the last article we talked about the two different process of producing edible oils, so far as we know, the oil quality is not affected by the way it is produced, as a matter of fact, it is affected by the oilseeds quality and the control of producing process, so the bulk oil and edible oil of unknown origin are off the list, choose the oils produced by formal oil manufacturers who have the best oil mill equipments.

Different oilseed contains different nutrients, and has different influence to the man’ health. Here is some info about the different oils that I believe will be helpful on choosing the right oil in accordance with different body constitutions.

Soybean oil contains linolenic acid to reduce blood pressure, and is cholesterol-free. It can significantly reduce adult blood cholesterol levels, effectively reducing the risk of coronary heart disease.

Corn germ oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, and it can effectively control blood lipid levels, which will inhibit cardiovascular diseases.

Virgin olive oil is helpful with human digestion and absorption functions, it contains unsaturated fatty acids with strong antioxidant activity, the oleic acid can enhance the contraction of the gastrointestinal tract and improve the secretory function of the pancreas, liver and gallbladder.

Sunflower oil is a low-fat oil, the linoleic acid content is up to 66%, which is far higher than other oils, and it also contains lecithin, carotene,etc. Long-term consumption can prevent skin diseases, bronchiectasis, and night blindness, and can reduce the body's blood pressure, reduce serum cholesterol.

Oleic acid contained in peanut oil may lower total cholesterol and bad cholesterol in the blood, but without reducing the good cholesterol. The experts of nutrition believe that oleic acid is a safe fatty acids which is able to play an effective role in the prevention of cardiovascular disease.
