Pulping System
The egg tray pulping system is the first step of a pulp molding production line. It is designed to convert raw materials like waste paper into a slurry or pulp. This system typically includes equipment such as a hydraulic pulper, screening devices, and refining units that work together to break down the paper fibers, remove impurities, and produce a smooth, consistent pulp. The peper pulping mahine is then used to mold egg trays, which are durable and capable of protecting eggs during storage and transport. The efficiency and quality of the pulping system are crucial, as they directly impact the overall quality of the final egg trays.Processable Raw Materials
- Waste Paper:This includes newspapers, old books, cardboard, cartons, etc. These are common raw materials that can be shredded and pulped for making egg trays.
- Pulp Board:Virgin or recycled pulp board is another common material used directly for pulping. It has high fiber strength and is suitable for producing high-quality egg trays.
- Industrial Paper Waste:Factory scraps, leftover materials from paper product manufacturing, and other industrial paper waste can be recycled as raw materials for pulping.
- Bamboo Pulp:Bamboo pulp has good fiber toughness and environmental benefits, making it suitable for producing eco-friendly egg trays.
- Straw Pulp:Agricultural waste like straw can be processed into low-cost, eco-friendly pulp, ideal for making lightweight egg tray products.

What Is Egg Tray Pulping System for?
The Egg Tray Pulping System is designed to convert waste paper or other fibrous materials into pulp, which is the primary raw material used in the production of egg trays. The system breaks down the paper into fine fibers, mixes it with water, and creates a smooth, consistent pulp that can be molded into egg trays. This process is essential in ensuring that the egg trays are durable, uniform, and capable of protecting eggs during storage and transport. The pulping system is a crucial step in the egg tray manufacturing process, enabling the efficient and sustainable recycling of paper waste into a useful packaging product.

Working Process of Egg Tray Pulping System
- Raw Material Preparation: Waste paper or other fibrous materials are collected and sorted. Large pieces may be pre-shredded to make the pulping process more efficient.
- Hydraulic Pulping: The prepared raw materials are fed into a hydraulic pulper. In this machine, water is added, and the materials are agitated and broken down into fibers. The pulper operates with rotating blades that mix the paper with water, creating a slurry of pulp.
- Pulp Screening: The pulp slurry is then passed through a screening system to remove any unwanted particles or impurities, such as plastic or metal fragments. This step ensures that the pulp is clean and of uniform consistency.
- Pulp Refining: The screened pulp undergoes further refining to improve the quality of the fibers. This step involves beating and refining the pulp to enhance its bonding properties, which is essential for creating strong, durable egg trays.
- Pulp Consistency Adjustment: The consistency of the pulp is adjusted by adding more water or thickening agents as needed. This step ensures that the pulp has the right thickness and moisture content for the molding process.
- Storage and Agitation: The prepared pulp is stored in a tank where it is continuously agitated to keep the fibers in suspension and prevent settling. The pulp is then ready to be pumped into the molding system for egg tray production.

Main Equipment Involved in Egg Tray Pulping System
Hydraulic Pulper
The hydraulic pulper is a commonly used piece of equipment in egg tray making machines, designed to repulp raw materials efficiently. It is frequently employed to process pulp board and paper products through its rotational motion. Equipped with internal sieve plates, the pulper screens out acceptable fibers and directs them to the pulp pool while removing impurities such as rags and nails. This ensures smooth operation and helps maintain consistent performance.

Pulp Refiner
Pulp refiner makes the pulp smoother and more well-proportioned by stirring constantly. Chemical additives, such as pigment, and thickener can be added and mixed evenly.
Pulp Pump
The pulp pump facilitates the transfer of pulp between the pulp pools and the molding machine. Utilizing pulp pumps enhances the flexibility of positioning between the pulp pool, stirring tank, and paper pulp molding machine. The pumps are designed with sufficient power to ensure a continuous supply of pulp, significantly reducing the constraints imposed by the landform.
Water Pump
The water pump is a water conveyor in the egg tray production line. It provides a constant flow of water to the hydraulic pulper.
