Track Bolt
Track bolts are used to fix steel rails and rail chairs on rail ties, or fasten rail joints to connect rail tracks. It is also called rail bolt, rail track bolt, or rail anchor bolts. The track is inserted in the rail tie through a hole, and a flange nut is embedded into the bottom side of the tie. The diameter and length of the track bolts are varied to conform to the railway’s standard. ASTM, ASNE, ANSIB, DIN, BS and GB, etc are common standard for track bolts. And the surface of track bolts goes through treatment like plain, black, dacromet, HDG(Hot Dip Galvanized) and Zinc impregnation.
Track bolts can be divided into several types, such as, button head oval neck track bolt, diamond neck track bolt, rail bolt NF F50-008, fish bolt, Russian standard track bolts, clip bolt, clamp bolt and inserted bolt for Russia, anchor bolt, T-bolt clamp and other special bolts, etc. We are able to supply all the these categories. Track bolts are good at preventing loosening by vibration and movement. As they are more tight than track spikes and screw, they are usually used on switch tie plates and sharp curves. If the rail is flat bottomed, it need upper-lipped washers to grip the edge. We are ready manufacture customized rail bolts based on clients’ requirement.
