For proper working of biomass briquette press and drying machine in the biomass briquetting plant,size of biomass waste is important. In the biomass briquetting plant, BFSD series Wood Crusher/ pulverizer is suitable for preparing sawdust or biomass small grains for briquette press and dryer. It can crush raw wood of size less than 200mm(diameter) into size of 3-5mm(diameter).
It is necessary to use a wood crusher if your raw material is raw wood. Wood crusher can process raw and fresh wood with size less than 200mm (diameter). After crushed, the output size can reach diameter 3-5mm, which is suitable for further briquetting or drying.

In the biomass briquetting plant, BFSC Hammer Mill is suitable for preparing suitable size raw material for briquette press and dryer. It can mill raw material like tree branch, tree trimmings,wood chips, wood cuttings, cotton stalk, corn stalk, wheat straw etc) of size max. 50mm(diameter). After milled, the output size can reach diameter 3-5mm , that is good for working of following dryer and briquette press.
The BFSC hammer mill is a machine whose purpose is to shred material into fine particles. A hammer mill is eassentially a steel drum containing or horizontal cross-shaped rotor on which pivoting hammers are mounted. The hammers are free to swing on the ends of the cross. The rotor is spun at a high speed inside the drum while material is fed into a feed hopper. The material is impacted by the hammers on the ends of the rotating cross and thereby is shredded and explled through screens in the drum.
